(1.5m**FRfEdABCDE) Podocarpus spinulosus. Dwarf Plum Pine is an unusual understory rainforest shrub with attractive thick stiff shiny narrow leaves and pink new growth. The dense foliage contrasts with its black trunk. Bird attracting with black edible grape like fruit that tastes like a slightly aromatic plum. Prefers well drained soil. Even can grow in sandy soils. Native to warm coastal regions of NSW to QLD. Will grow nicely in a container. Part shade.
