RED SWAMP LILY

(1m*FABCDE) Crinum ‘Menehune’. Gorgeous tall regal red spikes of big 10cm bright pink fragrant spidery flowers along with deep burgandy red leaved foliage. This is one of the hardiest of the Crinums and is drought tolerant and can be grown in waterlogged areas. It makes a large bulb 30-40cm long over time! Its wide strap like deep burgandy red spreading leaves will grow one metre tall and will keep its red colour! These spring-summer flower spikes really are massive with 12-20 big flowers and deeper red buds. This is a selected cross of C. amabile and a small species from the Caribbean. Grow in full sun to light shade. Sent in 75mm pots.
