PHILODENDRON GLORIOUS

(2mAbcD) Philodendron gloriosum x melanochrysum. This is a delightful semi climbing Philodendron with 50cm long velvety heart shaped green leaves with white or pale green veins. Pink new growths. It makes a marvellous patio or indoor plant. This hybrid was first bred here in QLD Australia in the 1970s. Most philodendrons will climb up a tree in nature usually in warm tropical rainforest. Over time they can transform into complete epiphytes getting their nutrients from its host tree via aerial roots sunk into its trunk. Great in a tub or in the ground. Bright indirect light. Sent in 75mm diameter pots.
