(1.5m**AbcD) Ficus microcarpa ‘Green Island’. This is a curious small native fig which tends to spread out sideways and is easy to train as a groundhugging shrub clinging closely to rocks or across a bed. Green Island has thick roundish leaves that are dark green and shiny. It does well in low or medium light and is really easy to maintain indoors. This is a low maintenance plant & proven great for bonsai. Develops a thick trunk and aerial roots at a relatively early age. Shade or sun. Sent in 42mm tubes.
