(6mAbcD) Dypsis carlsmithii. Very handsome ringed trunked Dypsis with a distinct orange crownshaft. Graceful arching green fronds. Considered to be a rare palm with fewer than 15 matured palms in Madagascar. Easy to take care of. Grows south of Sydney coastal NSW out of the frost. Great indoors in a well lit position. Native to Madagascar.
