(1.2mABCD) Attractive 6cm blood red flowers come in flushes right along the stem at all times of year and mainly in summer. This is an erect branching cactus to 1.2m tall with stiff gold to red spines. Will form a clump. Suitable for basket or garden. Does not like long periods of cold or frost. This is an unusual native of Bolivia & Peru & takes very dry conditions. Prefers part shade to full sun. Sent in 70mm pots.
