(40mAbcD) Calathea elliptica ‘Vittata’. A foliage plant with light to mid green leaves, marked with white stripes running pararell along the veins. Pale cream spring flowers appear in a cluster on the bright green bracts. This is a gorgeous hard to get non fussy clumping plant, native to South America. Put in the garden as a low growing contrast plant in warm climates. Highly favoured as indoor plants as they romp ahead in low light conditions. Shade.
