The onion like bulb can be planted above ground and eventually with little baby bulblets produced on the the outer most onion like layers hence the name Pregnant Onion. Droopy green strap like leaves and blooms an attractive cone shaped flower head covered in white fragrant flowers with a green mid-vein on each petals. Flowers from spring to winter. Native to South Africa. Prefers well drained soil. Frost tender. Full sun to part shade. 75mm pot.
