(30cmABCD) This lovely Bromeliad. Will give you unusual small bright purple winter flowers. Each tiny flower head emerges out of the heart of the plant. Ben Raphi’s leaves colour up bright pink in winter for a long period. They are narrow, silvery and rasp like in texture, cascading in tough rosettes from its central core. Rather a curiosity and collectors plant they are easy to grow and will slowly multiply for you. Filtered light and can be grown under shadecloth.
