We can now send concierge plug trays from Growing Solutions Australia to the Quarantine States. Their excess plug availability list is below. Please check this out and note the different buying conditions then from Carbrook and Heatons.
We are now including Wholesale Plug Trays and Tubes in our Concierge Service to the Quarantine States.

Carbrook Wholesale Nursery

We have arranged for Carbrook Wholesale Nursery to accept trade Customers from Tasmania, WA and the NT to purchase plugs (105 per tray) and 50mm tubes on the basis of Paradise Distributors (www.rareplants.net.au) providing the Concierge Service to get the plants through the Quarantine Protocol and delivered to you.
Minimum of 20 plants per species ie you do not have to buy a full tray of any one species. Yes you will be treated as a trade customer and buying at wholesale.
There is a proviso that the plants can be no taller than 15cm….so ask if this is OK when ordering from Jusie at Carbrook Nursery in QLD.
You will have to pay Carbrook for the plants and freight to our nursery. Freight price from Carbrook Nursery to Nambour is about $20 by Courier.
NB The height restriction is because we have to get a good air freight rate to do at this price and we have a standard 5kg carton 16cm tall. Alternatively we can cut plants back or you can accept that they will be bent over and crowded or you could pay more than double the freight for a taller box.

Heatons Nursery

We have arranged for Heatons Ferns Wholesale Nursery to accept trade Customers from Tasmania, WA and the NT to purchase plugs (144 per tray) on the basis of Paradise Distributors (www.rareplants.net.au) providing the Concierge Service to get the plants through the Quarantine Protocol and delivered to you.
In this case you must buy the full tray of one species.
Talk to Gaven or Susan at Heatons Ferns on 07 5441 1574 to order stock once you have seen their latest stock list.
They are very busy so talk to Bob at Paradise Distributors for general enquiries….talk to them to order.

To Order plug trays from this nursery we have a different process. Ordering must be done through Paradise Distributors and only whole trays can be ordered. There is also a surcharge of 50 cent per plant. The minimum courier cost from GSA to Paradise Distributors is expected to be $40. The concierge charge will be $135 for Tasmania then $155 for WA & NT.
